First Comes The Process than Comes HabitFirst Comes The Process than Comes HabitFirst Comes The Process than Comes Habit

Feeling overwhelmed or stressed? To many idea's to actually get things done? I know what you mean, I struggle with the same issues.

Take this blog for example. Posting one post a day, that's what I told myself yesterday and here I am, 21:05, being done for the day and no blog post yet. I forgot.

The problem is that it's new. It's not yet in my workflow. It's a new habit.

Whenever you want to do something new, it's good to take the time and figure out the process before you start. How does your workflow look and what steps do you need to take in order to get to the end result.

If you figure out the process than you only need to have the discipline to push through the dip. The dip is a period where things are hard because it's not coming to you like second nature yet. Most people believe it takes 21 days to force a habit but research has shown it's different for everyone but on average it takes about 66 days. That's THREE TIMES longer than you might think.

Going through this process requires discipline, but once it becomes a habit success is on the other side.
