News / PKRA Brazil - Packing

The PKRA here in Brazil has ended and now i'm getting ready to go. The PKRA was not so good as normally. The wind was really ligth, 8 untill 12 knots and for me it was hardly possible to do anything. The winnar of the event is Rui Meira. He was still able to rip hard and kick everyone his ass! Good job Rui and congratulations.

In the singles I started off with a hard heat against Guilly Brandao. Guilly is ripping hard and last year he was the guy who kicked Aaron Hadlow in the first round. I was a bit nervous but I managed to do great and I did almost all my moves like. Mobe to wrapped, Front mobe to blind, swith Slim, switch Slim to blind, switch KGB, Blind Judge, Slim Chance and some other moves. I had the best heat of my life and I advanced.

The next heat I was against Rui Meira. After the first heat we had to do it again and because there where some problems at the judges tower. Then we started again and the wind was not enough for me and I had to run 8 times over the beach to be able to go out. The wind was onshore and killing me. I lost and Rui won. He was still able to do some tricks.

Then in the doubles I had the first round witch was pretty ok and I made it to the next round. The wind was really light and I really didn't like my heat. I was just not happy about the conditions. Then I was up against Maciek from Poland and again I didn't had enough wind. I run upwind a couple of times but it was not enough. I lost and ended up 13th this PKRA.

Now I will pack my gear and move up to the north where I will stay untill the 12th of December. Time to train and I just bought a new video camera so you can expect some nice movies on-line soon!
