News / Blind Judge 3 (+ video)

After being injured it’s hard to get back on the board and doing all the tricks you can do. I didn’t forget them; it’s just scary to go for it a 100%. I’m learning a lot of new tricks everyday but still don’t have all my old tricks back. This week was great! After more then a year I finally did my blind judge again and it was a blind judge 3 straight. My brother filmed it. After that I managed to do them non stop without crashing. It’s really like pushing your limits and once it’s done you’re a step further and not afraid of that move anymore.My brother just came over from Holland for 3 weeks to get some holidays. He just quitted his job and is going to start his new job in about a month. He took the time to come and visit me and spend some time with me. He is also learning how to kite and he’s doing really well. After 4 times he can turn, stay upwind and he already made his first jump (1 meter).

Further it has been great here. Not one day without wind. We are forced to take some days of rest after kiting so much. Our muscles are sour and hurting of the crashes.

We spend our days of rest shopping in Fortaleza. We visit all the shopping malls and watching movies at the cinema. After that we went to a all you can eat sushi for 8 euro’s! HMMMM Great! After that we had a nice walk on the Beira Mar (a boulevard) and finished our day with an ice cream!
