News / Finally, an update!

After a long time of silence I'm finally bringing an update again. I'm still working on my  recovery. It's been almost 7 months now and it has taken more time that I thought it would be. It's also because I want it to be perfect and not risking any further damage to my knee, neither ligaments. I went to the Bergman Kliniek (hospital) a couple of weeks ago and we did some tests. Next month I need to come back, do the same tests and if the results are positive I can slowly build it up and start kiting again. Looking so much forward to that.

I didn't manage to keep the site up to date because I tried to close myself as much as possible from the kitesurf scene. If your to much into the scene your will to go is so much bigger. Now it has been okey, only on those windy, summer days it's still frustrating to see other people ride but that's just the way it is. This winter it will be me again, riding in the warm temperatures, in a boardshort in Brazil. As long as I keep that in my mind I will be ok!

Soon more updates with the coverage I did this year. I've been working a lot with the dutch kitesurf magazines, riding articles and columns.
